    • Audit medical records/chart, filing completed charts. Help with peer review and records requests.
    • Maintain physician credentials, both paper and electronic files. Prepare reports for MEC & GB
    • Verify insurance benefits and coverage. Notify patient of financial responsibility and collect payment.
    • Confirm all needed authorizations are in place.
    • Answer billing and insurance questions.
    • Unpaid and incorrectly paid claim follow-up.
    • Denied claim follow-up.
    • Follow-up with patients who have an unpaid balance due.
