Position Details

This role involves oversight and completion of provider insurance credentialing and paneling. A role that maintains communication with insurance providers/carriers and process enrollment for applications for commercial health plan payors.

Responsibilities:

• Process enrollment applications for commercial health plan payors, and manage the ongoing participation requirements of the plans for all practitioners enrolled
• Populate, maintain, and update the credentialing communication tools
• All aspects of external credentialing/re-credentialing providers and clinicians including: obtaining provider information and entering into databases such as CAQH and CHAMP, completing applications and following up with insurance carriers
• Maintain ongoing communication with insurance carriers, to ensure external credentialing profiles and rosters are current and accurate

Position Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in credentialing strongly preferred.
• Proven experience building and maintaining positive working relationships with insurance and carriers.
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects and deadlines.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Proficient in Excel
• Able to independently problem solve and research new projects
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven Organizational skills
