SUMO Medical Staffing is a physician staffing and recruiting agency. We place physicians in hospitals and medical centers throughout the nation. We are searching for someone that can work with our clients and physicians to obtain hospital privileges for various hospitals, medical centers, government facilities and small practices. This person would be responsible for all aspects of the credentialing, recredentialing and privileging processes for all medical providers who provider temporary coverage in assignments that can range anywhere from a few days to a year if not longer.

Responsibilities

The perfect candidate for this job would be someone that is very dependable, detail oriented with great written and verbal communication skills and must be able to multitask. We would also like someone that is able to work well with others in a team environment. This individual will be able to manage multiple tasks and demonstrate organization and prioritization abilities. An added bonus would be someone that has worked in the locum tenens industry but this is not a requirement. This is not a work from home job and a requirement will be to be in the office 5 days a week for 8 hours a day.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains confidentiality of provider information.
• Provides credentialing and privileging verifications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

Experience with Outlook, Word and Excel preferred. SalesForce knowledge would also be a plus but not a requirement. Strong computer skills is a must. The right candidate would be reliable, have strong attention to detail, and be very well organized.
