    Work You'll Do

    Collaborating amongst team members across several geographies, our Cloud practitioners engineer cloud-based analytics solutions on AWS, Azure, Databricks, Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake, Oracle, Informatica Cloud and a combination of native cloud technologies, including computing at edge and curating data-in-motion.

    As a Specialist Senior in our AI & Data team, you will leverage your deep subject matter knowledge, to bring solutions to clients with a focus on achieving a high level of performance and quality through delivery of both agile and traditional projects to provide exceptional business value to users.

    Working within an engagement team, your responsibilities include, among others:
    • Managing and delivering components of client engagements focused on identifying, designing, and implementing technology business solutions for large companies
    • Managing small teams to identify business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures. Your background in technology will provide the foundation to manage these streams but also understand the technology
    • Creation and development of project scope and schedule. Plan and assign resources to associated tasks and deliverables
    • Monitoring progress of the project, identify, and quantify variances, perform required corrective actions
    • Identifying high-level risks, assumptions, and constraints. Implement approved actions and workarounds to minimize the impact of risks on the project
    • Developing and maintaining communication with key project stakeholders and decision makers


    Qualifications

    Required:
    • 3 years of relevant technology consulting or industry experience with ability to contribute to an end-to-end Architecture and Solution
    • 2 years experience implementing data solutions on the Snowflake cloud data platform
    • 1 years experience with Snowpark
    • 3 years experience with SQL and Python
    • 2 years of hands-on experience with data core modernization and data ingestion
    • 2 years experience leading workstreams or small teams
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
    • Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
    • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available


    Preferred:

    • Experience with Cloud using Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
    • Experience with Spark, PySpark, Scala and Java highly preferred
    • Experience with Snowpark Container Services, Streamlit highly preferred
    • Snowflake's SnowPro Certifications (ie: SnowPro Core, SnowPro Advanced Architect, SnowPro Advanced Data Engineer, SnowPro Advanced Data Analyst, SnowPro Advanced Data Scientist)
    • Understanding of emerging technologies (such as GenAI) and advanced data architectures (ie: Multimodal data management & model design, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Data Products, etc.)
    • Experience with Databricks preferred
    • Experience working with multi-Terabyte data sets
    • Experience with real-time data movement solutions that use security and encryption protocols while data is in transit
    • Experience collaborating among team members across several geographies
    • An advanced degree in the area of specialization is preferred

At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119,025 - $198,375.

    You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
