Medical Staff Credentialing Supervisor oversees day-to-day activities of staff that process credentialing and recredentialing applications for health care providers. Implements department procedures to facilitate organized and up-to-date provider databases. Being a Medical Staff Credentialing Supervisor administers system for tracking license and certification expirations to ensure renewals are submitted in a timely fashion. Ensures that applications are properly verified and accurately uploaded into an online credentialing database system. Additionally, Medical Staff Credentialing Supervisor resolves complex questions regarding credentialing or provider database maintenance and best practices. Prepares reports on applications and credentialing status to identify trends and improve the credentialing process. May require a bachelor's degree. The Call Center – Administrative Support team member is responsible for processing incoming orders from various, incoming platforms, including, but not limited to Fuji, Cerner, NJ Shine, electronic faxes, and secure emails. Additionally, this team member is responsible for making outbound calls on applicable STAT order requests.
The employee maintains and retrieves patient records and ensures that the records are processed timely. The Call Center – Administrative Support employee adheres to HIPAA rules and regulations when managing patient records and always demonstrates and maintains Patient Confidentiality.

This full time, 40 hour per week position is based in AMI's Vineland, NJ office location on Sherman Avenue. The work schedule includes Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm and 8:30am-5pm. Schedules are subject to change based on department needs. This position is 100% on-site.
Eligible candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of one (1) year of medical office work experience. A basic knowledge of medical terminology or some anatomy coursework is strongly preferred. Candidates must be well-versed in Microsoft Office, with a working knowledge of EMR systems and other medical-related software. Experience with Fuji RIS is strongly preferred. A demonstrated experience with email systems and electronic faxes is required.
Candidates must be able to adapt quickly to evolving processes, changing technologies, and environments. To be successful in this position, candidate must be highly organized, with strong attention to detail, and have the ability to prioritize competing tasks. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required. Qualified candidates can work independently while also functioning as an effective team member, with a willingness to communicate and collaborate.
