    • Appropriate licensure within the state
    • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
    • 1 year of applicable experience


    Details of this Nuclear Medical Technician Assignment:

    • Traveler Compensation: 2888 gross weekly (includes weekly stipend of 1246)
    • Local Hourly Rate: $ 67.23 to $ 67.23 an hour
    • Number of Shifts Weekly: 5
    • Expected Weekly Hours: 40

What does a Medical Support Assistant do?

Demonstrate ability to carry out medical orders as directed after clearly considering implications of appropriateness for the consumer, relationship to current therapy under way and integration with nursing standards.

Monitoring appointment requests from multiple electronic sources, participating in huddles with other MSAs and/or clinic staff to determine the daily needs of the clinic, monitoring both inpatient and outpatient appointments in areas of responsibility.

Assists the clinical team in performing the nursing assessment to identify and prioritize physical, psychosocial and cultural needs in order to develop a plan of care.

Provides supervising physician or Nurse practitioner extender services, including, coordination of lab results, obtaining authorizations for ordered medications, and coordinating referrals for specialty care.
