Position Overview
RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting a Technical Writer in Virginia Beach, VA; Washington, DC; Indian Head, MD, in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), McAlester Detachment.
**This position is contingent upon contract award. **
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and prepare documentation, writing, editing, and interpreting technical documentation standards and preparing documentation accordingly.
- Writes a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses.
- Coordinates the display of graphics and the production of the document.
- Ensures content is of high quality and conforms with standards.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university in English, Communications, or Information Technology.
- At least three years of experience, background, and knowledge of one or more Defense Programs is required.
- Written communication, ability to explain concepts clearly.
- Planning and organization skills
- Knowledge of software and computers
- Possesses attention to detail and multitasking.
- Secret security clearance or the ability to qualify for such clearance upon employment.
