Meeting/Event Planner plans and organizes live or virtual meetings and events for an organization or external clients. Implements an event strategy to achieve objectives. Being a Meeting/Event Planner researches and recommends event venues. Coordinates meeting logistics, including attendee registration, transportation, accommodations, meals, and technology. Additionally, Meeting/Event Planner conducts rehearsals and system checks of all equipment and connectivity. Researches and maintains relationships with vendors for event support services. Coordinates budget planning and ensures that events stay within cost projections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Meeting/Event Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Materials Planner to join our team! Navistar Supply Chain has exciting opportunities for Material Planning positions.
Material Planning includes but are not limited to : Running exception reports and communicating with the supply base on potential part issues.
There are opportunities to communicate, and problem solve with cross functional teams including other supply chain team members, production, quality, engineering, customer response center, third party logistics and procurement.
Communication may be direct with supply base and / or through corporate conference calls. Material planners are responsible for material inventory levels as it moves through the production cycle.
Responsibilities Responsible for Suppliers relationship to assure parts availability for production lines Take care of all MRP parameters related to the PNs assigned Understand demand generation from production schedules Coordinates dates for Engineering Changes on current production products Interaction with Purchasing, Production, Supply Chain and Engineering teams, supporting daily production Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree OR At least 2 years of shop order planning and purchasing experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
