Additionally, Meeting/Event Planner conducts rehearsals and system checks of all equipment and connectivity. Researches and maintains relationships with vendors for event support services. Coordinates budget planning and ensures that events stay within cost projections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Meeting/Event Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. This position occupies a key role in the manufacturing team of the production unit or line in Motion NEMA Motors in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling all maintenance jobs making sure essential materials are provided prior to the jobs starting.
Also, in this role, you will be responsible for procurement of necessary MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operating) supplies as well as maintain accurate inventory in stock room.
The objective of this position is to reduce downtime through the effective procurement of MRO products and scheduling of maintenance work orders.
