Member Certification Manager manages the certification and credentialing programs of a professional or membership organization. Oversees the development of standards and testing materials. Being a Member Certification Manager develops testing schedules and resource requirements to deliver testing. Collaborates with curriculum designers and instructors to ensure materials present certification requirements accurately and are validated in the certification processes. Additionally, Member Certification Manager develops quality processes to ensure the testing and validation processes accurately measure certification requirements. Optimizes the certification process to ensure members are satisfied and resolves any problems related to the process. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and manage a small, dynamic team of Certification Specialists, Inspectors, and Evaluation Specialists.
Responsible for staff performance and customer deliverables.
Recruit, develop and retain high-quality staff to meet company objectives and growth.
Monitor department work and provide staffing recommendations.
Responsible for meeting project and department milestones and goals
Lead and manage NEMO|cert. business operations, including:
Certification
Inspection
NEMO Evaluations (Code Approvals)
Maintain and manage development of SOPs and operational documents:
Forms, e.g. applications, reports, check-lists, spreadsheets
Protocol of use of NEMO Certification logo
Online NEMO Certification and NEMO Evaluations (NER) Database (with Director of Operations)
Maintain ISO/IEC 17065 and ISO/IEC 17020 accreditations (with Director of Quality & Engineering).
Meet with prospective customers and formulate quotes and contracts.
Attend staff meetings and industry events.
Monitor adherence to budgets.
Provide quarterly summary report.
Weekly time documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or scientific discipline, or Master’s degree in Business/Management.
Minimum 5 years documented experience in management of departments and associated staff.
Excellent people skills with documented ability to inspire productivity in staff.
Documented history of supporting career development for staff.
Team player, eager to advance the team and its performance.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Dynamic, self-motivated, quick learner with good judgment and decision making skills.

HOURS:
Full time, salaried position, minimum 40 hours per week, on-site
