A Recovery Technician at Advancing Sight Network is responsible for the surgical recovery of safe and viable eye tissue to be used in transplants, research, and education.

A Recovery Technician is an integral part of our work to restore sight.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Surgical recovery of transplant and research donor tissue.
• Review of donor medical charts.
• Packaging and shipping eye tissue.
• Performing minimal laboratory duties as necessary.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated professional with these qualifications:

• Prior medical experience or life sciences education is preferred.
• Ability to interface with peers and hospital personnel.
• Ability to work on-call shifts during holidays, weekends, and nights.
• A valid driver’s license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
