Membership Director oversees an association or member organization's strategic goal-setting, implementation, and service operations to expand membership and deliver member satisfaction.     Survival Flight is currently accepting resumes for the Membership Coordinator position ​located in Batesville, Arkansas. The Membership Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of membership, from serving as a point of contact for membership-related questions, as needed to organize membership events, working closely with the Director of Marketing to implement and meet memberships goals, supervising membership managers across the organization to drive membership growth throughout all phases of the membership lifecycle, and providing a vital, high-quality customer service program to all Survival Flight clientele. The Membership Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining accurate membership records, tracking membership figures, and coordinating with the accounting department regarding the payment and processing of membership fees. The Membership Coordinator must be very organized with attention to detail, can work independently, and does not require direct supervision to complete the job responsibilities.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Professional and courteous communications with members regarding inquiries concerning coverage areas, membership costs, and payment information
    • Plan and organize membership activities and PR events
    • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact positively with an audience or group
    • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the membership managers
    • Provide guidance/coaching to membership managers on best practices to engage local organizations, i.e., fire depts, civic organizations, churches, hospitals, schools, etc.
    • Organize and implement overall membership goals for the company, working closely with the BCMs and the membership managers to meet these goals
    • Supervise membership managers providing direction and counsel in achieving membership goals, customer service, and team building
    • Prepare and distribute membership marketing materials
    • Conduct appraisals/evaluations for all membership managers
    • Remain active in membership recruitment and retention campaigns
    • Ability to anticipate problems and adjust the allocation of resources accordingly
    • Open and straightforward in offering ideas for improvement or change in all aspects of the membership program
    • Maintaining membership records, database, and membership directory
    • Addresses any issues of membership recruitment, retention, and community engagement and implements strategies to increase membership

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • 2 years of experience in sales or a related field
    • Strong computer skills, i.e., PowerPoint, Keynote, Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Office
    • Above average written and oral communication skills
    • Above average public speaking skills
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Ability to maintain healthy interpersonal relationships

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • At least 3 years of work experience in the EMS field
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
