Job Title: Forklift Operator - Truckload Order Picker

Position Overview: Due to our growth in recent years, we are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator at XS Merchandise to be a truckload Order Picker. Your role will consist of picking factory sealed cartons and full pallets of merchandise. Then staging the merchandise for double check by a supervisor. Once your pick ticket is double checked for accuracy, you will be building seven-foot-high mixed pallets of merchandise that will ship as full truckloads. You will be an integral part of our operations team, contributing to the seamless flow of goods in and out of our facility. This role requires individuals who are not only skilled in operating a forklift but also possess a strong commitment to efficiency, adaptability, and teamwork.

Schedule: FIRST SHIFT ONLY: Monday-Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm. No evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Order Picking: Utilize a forklift to accurately and efficiently pick orders for our valued customers, ensuring timely fulfillment.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse team to streamline processes, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to creating a more efficient working environment.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a secure and hazard-free work environment.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency, offering insights and suggestions for optimization.

Qualifications:

• Forklift Certification: Valid forklift certification and demonstrated proficiency in operating a forklift in a warehouse setting.
• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse environment, particularly in order picking, preferably picking by truckload.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced work environment.
• Team Player: Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team.
• Efficiency: Proven track record of working efficiently to meet productivity goals while maintaining accuracy.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks as required in a warehouse setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
