Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Assistant to join our team. The Bakery Assistant will support the daily operations of the bakery, ensuring high-quality products and excellent customer service.

Duties:
- Assist in preparing and baking a variety of bakery items such as pretzels, pizzas, and other factory foods.
- stock bakery products for display and sale
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area
- Provide friendly customer service, including assisting with inquiries and purchases
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of bakery items
- Collaborate with the bakery team to meet production goals

Skills:
- Proficiency in retail math for transactions and inventory management
- Experience with cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Knowledge of food handling safety guidelines
- Strong sales skills to promote bakery products effectively
- Ability to bus tables and maintain a clean dining area
- Familiarity with the food industry practices and standards
- Experience in cash handling procedures
- Previous exposure to Aloha POS system is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.25 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
