Being a Merchandise Planner - Deli controls ordering, inventory, and quality of deli products. Responsible for increasing business with new and existing customers. Additionally, Merchandise Planner - Deli may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Deli George is a local, family owned deli that has been in Boise for 25 years. It's consistently ranked as one of the the best Deli/Sandwich Shop/Restaurant/Pubs in the Treasure Valley. We are looking for motivated, hard working, fun loving individual that is eager to learn and work with others. Your duties would include but not be limited to cashier/ front counter, catering, sandwich building, cleaning, and lobby service... You can expect to make 12-20$ an hour between wages and tips.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting, with a strong understanding of POS systems, cash handling, and customer service is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in food handling and food safety protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent time management skills
- Experience with food preparation and culinary techniques is preferred
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and basic math skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Certification in food safety is a plus
