What does the Production Reconciliation and Invoice Processing (PRIP) team do?

IMS is currently seeking a Billing Analyst for our Morton Grove, IL location. You will be responsible for accurate and timely client invoicing. This position works closely with the cross functional groups and offshore team (EXL) to ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.

What's the opportunity?

• Review and monitor daily dashboards and analyze billing notes to process/produce invoices
• Review invoices generated by the EXL team for distribution to client; ensure completeness and accuracy of the backup documentation lo accompany the invoice
• Analyze bills, reports, and accounting ledgers for accuracy, taking corrective measures within the billing guidelines
• Adhere to billing cut-off dates
• Prepare month end journal entry accruals and month end reports where needed
• Assist cash flow forecasting by providing inputs related to WIP and unbilled AR
• Reconciliation and analysis of WIP ledger
• Ensure proper billing methods are adhered to
• Assists with internal and external audits
• Respond to client and internal staff inquiries regarding billing, invoices, etc
• Adhere to related accounting processes
• Update and maintain processes and procedures, always forward thinking and recommending efficiencies.

The skills and experience you have:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent prior experience in related field.
• Strong organizational skills, problem solving, with excellent communication skills.
• Team-player who can also work independently with attention to detall.
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with ERP ie JD Edwards/AS 400 queries preferred.
