Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Residual System Maintenance Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our residual system and ensuring accurate calculations and payments for agent residuals and commissions.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and apply new fee charge types from various sources such as interchange, assessment, transactions, and agent appendices.
Update and monitor system errors related to monthly residual calculations and agent web portal.
Gather source data and review bankcard databases from various platforms for commission calculation.
Calculate commissions manually and adjust for errors and special pricing.
Input commission data into our ERP system and prepare payments via ACH templates or check issuance.
Communicate with agents and other departments to resolve residual and commission-related inquiries.
Prepare and present commission reports for upper management and third-party stakeholders.
Participate in conference calls with external partners such as TSYS to address billing and credit issues.
Collaborate with the sales department to register and manage new and existing reseller information.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Previous experience in accounting, financial analysis, or payment processing preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
