Merchant Chargeback Manager manages and oversees the daily operations of a group of fraud analysts/investigators and/or chargeback analysts, either directly or through subordinate supervisors. Develops and implements fraud/chargeback policies and procedures in order to achieve an overall acceptable fraud rate on CNP transactions. Being a Merchant Chargeback Manager manages analysis of transactional records and databases to determine fraud trends and assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies. Possesses expert understanding of fraud related data, model schematics, systems and tools. Additionally, Merchant Chargeback Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a Director. The Merchant Chargeback Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Betterpay is seeking a Account Manager who is a natural hunter of sales and who has direct experience selling merchant services. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure to meet sales goals and has a desire to exceed them, maximizing their earning potential (uncapped).

    This role is a commission plus residual sales position, average performers sell an average of 4 to 6 deals a month and average 60k to 70k the first year, high performer 80k to 100k the first year. Self-Prospecting businesses is a must to be successful. You will prospect businesses in our local community to use or services. (Most businesses already accept cards, we are just making it better and cheaper)

    Responsibilities

    • Have a clear understanding of all Betterpay products and services.
    • Present Betterpay value propositions competently.
    • Self-generate leads in the business community, including Chambers of Commerce, local associations, merchant groups, community banks, and business owners.
    • Enter activity into CRM to stay organized and assist leadership win developing accurate metrics.
    • Manage prospect and opportunity pipelines through consistent funnel management.
    • Continue sales development by attending regularly scheduled sales and product sessions.
    • Ability to work in a cooperative and supportive manner with the executive leadership team.
    • Receive coaching and feedback and demonstrate a willingness to implement recommendations into the sales process.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of 2 years' experience in selling Merchant Services ** Required**
    • Self-motivated with a proven track record of success
    • B2B sales experience
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • A strong personal and professional network with an active, robust pipeline of business owners and referral partners
    • Excellent business acumen
    • Takes on personal accountability for establishing and achieving prospecting and sales goals.
    • Work with integrity, a positive attitude, and being a team player at all times while driving to leave a mark in the industry.
    • Ability to thrive under pressure.
    • A driving need to succeed.
    • Valid Driver’s License with reliable, insured vehicle.
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications, e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
