Lube Tech must provide their own tools

The Lube Technician services vehicles as assigned by management following all established standards and procedures, which includes rotating tires, performing multi-point inspections, and changing automotive fluids. He or she checks the oil, tire pressure and condition, filters, windshield wiper fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, transmission and differential fluids, and engine coolant. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform all lubrication services.
• Perform thorough check of customer’s car (i.e., battery, lights, tires), referring all needed repairs and preventive maintenance to Service Advisor.
• Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment.
• Receive repair order from either the Service Advisor the Production Foreman and proceed to service lift.
• Lubricate entire car while looking for other items which may need repair.
• Ensure that the customer’s car is kept cleaned free of fluid residue or fingerprints.
• Make certain all equipment is in proper working order, especially the lifts.
• Use adequate, but not excessive, amounts of materials and supplies.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
• Installs completed LOF reminder sticker in vehicle

• Maintains CSI at or above Company standards

Examples of services needing to be performed:

• Oil changes
• Battery replacements
• Tire mounting and balancing
• Tire rotations
• Multi-point vehicle inspections
• Fluid and filter inspections and changes

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Follows Safeguards rules and regulations

Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.

• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• One year of experience as a Quick Lane / Express Lube Technician in an automobile maintenance facility.
• Manual dexterity.
• Good judgment.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
• All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license
• Should be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times

• Need to be able to walk or stand for several hours at times in both hot and cold temperatures
• Need to be friendly and ready to work as part of a customer-focused team
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace

SCHEDULE:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
