Performs analysis and tests to aid in the development of new and improved metals and alloys as well as their applications to various products. Being a Metallurgical Engineer requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Metallurgical Engineer work is closely managed.
