Being a Meter Maintenance Technician inspects area for gas leaks and provides resolutions to customer issues. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, Meter Maintenance Technician typically reports to a manager. The Meter Maintenance Technician works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Position Purpose:
This job position normally assigns work for the department and performs the work of a Meter Technician 1st Class with the additional responsibility of overseeing jobs assigned by the Supervisor, Electric Metering and/or Company management. Perform job functions within assigned department, including, but not limited to: Metering systems construction, operation, and maintenance. Maintains records and reports relating to assigned functions. This position falls under the Department of Transportation drug testing requirements.

Qualifications:

HOURS: Hours shall be Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
WAGE: Ultimate rate - $49.56 per hour, for a 40 hour week. Overtime rates in accordance with UWUA Agreement, Local #B340.
