The Financial Analyst is responsible for financial reporting and analysis to management in order to drive continued operational improvement. This role will develop and maintain all product standard costs, monitoring inventory transactions to ensure accruate reporting, and perform month end close task including monthly reporting package. This position will work closely with operations to understand and explain major variances from standard cost.
1. Tasks and Responsibilities
· Complete analysis and communication of major deviations from standard cost.
· Monitor process order variances and related inventory transactions.
· Maintain and update product standard cost in SAP.
· Coordination and summarization of month-end reports for plant variances and other P&L related reports.
· Maintain the cost records for product changes/updates.
Prepare cost estimates for new products and cost variations of existing products.
2. Education and Experience
· Minimum Bachelors degree in Accounting from accredited College/University or equivalent background/experience
· MBA or CMA certification is a plus
· Analytical skills critical
· 3-5 years Manufacturing Accounting experience.
· Prior experience with SAP highly desired.
