The firm is seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented professional to join as an Analyst to their New York project management team.
Role Description:

FirstPoint Equity offers analysts an entrepreneurial environment to engage directly in the fund advisory, formation and capital raising process for some of the best alternative asset managers worldwide. The private placement process uniquely develops both the quantitative and qualitative skills required at more advanced levels across the financial spectrum.
Applicants for this role should have a solid understanding and enthusiasm for the alternative asset sector, particularly private equity, along with 1-2 years of prior finance experience. Preferred candidates will have a background in private placements, investment banking, alternative asset investor relations, or related areas. The position involves managing multiple projects, often with tight deadlines, frequent client interaction and communication, and meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
The Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the deal team across various tasks, such as collaborating directly with clients to draft marketing materials, planning and managing roadshows, preparing due diligence meetings, and completing LP due diligence questionnaires.
Additional responsibilities include assisting the Partners in various research projects and the sourcing, diligence, and origination of new mandates. The Analyst will also manage and maintain external FPE materials, including marketing/pitch materials, fund offering booklets and executive presentations for the senior team members.
