    Job Description:

    • Collections of rent payments from vendors
    • Maintenance of vendor records
    • Vendor and community relations
    • Development of specialty market nights and events
    • Facilities management
    • Collaboration with board members
    • Cultivation of fundraising and sponsorship support

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Proof of eligibility to work in the US.
    • Computer skills, including proficiency in social media platforms.
    • Effective communication skills to engage with vendors, community partners, and stakeholders.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships, even in challenging situations.

    Additional Considerations:

    • The position is part-time, and hours will depend upon the time of year with the late spring and summer being busier while the market is open more and the off season being less hours focused on community relations, fundraising and sponsorships.
    • The position is salary-based.
    • This position requires patience and resilience in handling vendor and farmer concerns, balancing the need to address concerns while upholding market standards set by the board in collaboration with County Commission and City Council.
    • While empowered to handle various aspects of market management, the Farmer's Market Manager can rely on the support and guidance of the board for assistance and decision-making.
