Help manage Franklin’s hottest venue! We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual with a desire to grow with us. The Hubs Vine is a modern market that offers a great retail experience in a fun and unique space. We serve lunch daily and offer specialty foods, beverages, ice cream, coffee, gifts, games and more. We host special events, parties, wine tastings, live music and private dinners.

The Hubs Vine is owned by Hubbard Peanut Company, Inc., a 70 year old business owned and operated by the Hubbard Family.

Job Summary

The Hubs Vine Market Manager will work closely with our kitchen and event manager, as well as the Hubs support staff in Sedley to oversee all aspects of the Hubs Vine and to ensure quality and interesting customer experiences.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Ensures customer satisfaction in regards to prompt and courteous service.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and healthy environment for customers and staff.
• Manages all market staff, to include proper certifications, scheduling, and adherence to policies of the Hubs Vine Market.
• Coordinates the scheduling of the kitchen staff with the Kitchen Manager.
• Daily sales and tip accounting.
• Ensures that POS system and menu changes are updated.
• Responsible for purchasing and maintaining market inventory from approved vendors including month end counts.
• Coordinates with Kitchen and/or Events Manager to maintain/update daily menus, event menus and specials.
• Monitors expiration dates and responsible for proper storage and shelf rotation of all inventory.
• Attends food shows, demonstrations, seminars and other business related activities as requested.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum four-year college degree or comparable work experience preferred.
• Computer skills to include basic Excel/spreadsheet skills, word processing, social media and email.

Ability to obtain the following with Hubbard Peanut Company covering expenses:

• Virginia Food Handlers Card
• Food Safe Manager Certification
• Alcoholic Beverage Control Board Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
