The Role
BGC is seeking a Senior Mine Closure Engineer/Specialist with experience in mine closure planning and landform and cover design. The successful candidate will join our growing team of closure specialists and have a leadership role in advancing the strategic vision and direction of BGC’s mine closure practice. They will work closely with BGC’s mining team, project managers, engineers, and geoscientists, and will provide technical guidance, leadership, and mentorship on large, multi-disciplinary mining projects.
This position can be based at any of BGC’s office locations.

Drug & Alcohol Testing

Driver’s License
BGC requires that employees have a valid driver's license, and that employees can drive a field pickup truck. Upon hiring, BGC will require a driver’s abstract to allow for a safety review of your driving history.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $185,000 CAD per annum, however base pay will be commensurate with job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. BGC's compensation package also includes a training allowance and a comprehensive medical and dental plan.
