About the role
You will be part of the successful tailings design team. You’ll work on a variety of tailings and water dam designs, analysis and construction. This includes feasibility studies, geotechnical investigations, foundation design, design and assessment of mine waste management and water management facilities, hazard and risk assessments, monitoring, mine planning and financial appraisals, construction management and quality assurance, specialist and expert opinions for technical issues.

Your background will include:
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
· 2 years’ geotechnical tailings and mining experience.
· Technical progression in your geotechnical career.
· The ability to make decisions on drilling, field investigations, laboratory testing, seepage analysis, slope stability analysis, site closure design and construction.
· Ability to manage planned travel within Australia and internationally.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license and have the right to work in Australia.
