Job Summary:

1. Coordinates patient care from initial consult, to scheduling surgery to follow-up calls post-operatively.

2. Serves as the point person ensuring proper communication among doctors, management, staff, facility staff and referring physicians.

Education and Experience:

• Associate degree or bachelor degree preferred: sales/marketing emphasis
• One to two years of cosmetic surgery experience preferred.
• One to two years of sales experience preferred.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

• Superior communication skills, oral, written, and platform.
• Communication with patients to include presenting a friendly, caring manner, which reflects positively on the practice and puts patients at ease.
• Acquaint all new patients with the office procedures to which they will be exposed.
• Computer literate with knowledge of exporting and importing files. Experience with Excel is required.
• Can effectively create and maintain all aspects of social media.
• Must be able to work as part of a team.
• Effective organizational skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serves as key contact for all cosmetic inquiries including those from patients, physicians, and staff members.
• Coordinates patient care from initial contact through post-operative follow-up.

Administrative Duties

• Develops and monitors internal systems for cosmetic appointments (i.e., scheduling new patients, tracking patient correspondence and referral source follow-up).
• Maintain office databases.

Patient Care Duties

• Answer questions the patient may have regarding the procedure(s) to be performed from the beginning of the patient's journey and throughout.
• Be an effective liaison between the patient and the surgeon or provider.
• Schedule appointments (as applicable) for patients.
• Answer all telephone inquiries from patients and their families concerning surgery and/or related concerns.
• Prepare correspondences for patients and staff.
