Mobile Applications Developer is responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining mobile applications.     Role Title: Software Developer - Web Applications


    The Software Developer for web applications will work on a variety of projects as assigned by various project leads. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP/MySQL development with a heavy experience in an MVC environment. Experience with API and web service integration a plus. Attention to detail and thoroughness are an absolute must for the right candidate.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Designs/codes applications following specifications using the appropriate tools
    • Maintains and modifies existing applications on their own as well as under direction from senior team members
    • Performs maintenance programming for existing codebase
    • Performs custom programming as directed
    • Assumes responsibility for ongoing development of assigned tasks
    • Works with project lead and quality assurance through completion of tasks

    Competencies: 

    • Familiarity working within Model/View/Controller software architecture
    • Familiarity working within a version control system
    • Implementation of varied API and Web Services through the use of REST/XML
    • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to other technical staff members
    • Ability to interface well with professional service staff and other non-technical members of the organization
    • Knowledge of Jira is a plus
    • Knowledge of Git is a plus
    • Knowledge of CakePHP framework is a plus
    • Knowledge of React Native is a plus


    Requirements: 

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
    • 4 years’ experience of quality software development
    • 3 years’ experience developing PHP/MySQL-based applications
