Qualifications: Good understanding of all New Model practices and procedures. Must conform with all federal and state requirements. Good written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills. Previous supervision experience is preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Internal and external efficiency improvement planning and implementation in complex assembly areas.
• Model Allocation Planning (new and current). e.g. line layout/parts warehouse space.
• Manpower allocation planning for new models and capacity changes.
• Assembly process design and layout for new models.
• Assembly process leveling after efficiency improvements and capacity changes.
• Feasibility Studies, preliminary advance Impact Analysis Study for changes in business scope, capacity, and new model.
• Create proposals for improvement projects and present for executive decision.
• Assembly training during new models and process changes.
• Establish and maintain long term departmental targets.
• Equipment planning, allocation, order, & management of supplier schedule for on-time delivery.
• Responsible for auditing bill of materials.
• Support development of 5S, TPM and Kaizen programs.
• Ensure safe operations.
• Have the ability to establish and execute a monthly plan.
• Will ensure daily control items align with the company business plan and key objectives/metrics.
• Assist with the maintenance of the China Compulsory certification (CCC) system.
• Assist with project management.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Requires previous knowledge of new model practices and procedures.
