We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and a strong understanding of cabinet construction and installation. The Cabinet Maker will work closely with designers and clients to bring their visions to life while adhering to safety standards and best practices in the workshop.Duties
- Construct cabinets using various materials, including wood, laminate, and composite materials.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery for cutting, shaping, and assembling cabinet components.
- Perform remodeling tasks as needed, including door hanging and cabinet installation.
- Ensure all products meet quality standards through thorough inspection before delivery.
- Collaborate with team members on larger projects, contributing expertise in mold remediation when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Employ caulking techniques for finishing touches on installations.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to woodworking.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery is a plus.
- Knowledge of remodeling practices, including door hanging techniques.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and execute plans effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship.
- Experience in plumb adjustments during installations is advantageous.
