Mortgage Collection Manager manages a team of collectors and supervisors who limit collection portfolio losses and delinquencies. Trains and staffs collection associate team. Being a Mortgage Collection Manager evaluates delinquent loans and determines foreclosure status. May assist in developing strategies to limit foreclosures, repossessions, etc. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Mortgage Collection Manager typically reports to a director. The Mortgage Collection Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Mortgage Collection Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. - Recruit, train, and mentor loan officers to maximize their performance and productivity.
- Establish and maintain relationships with referral partners, real estate agents, and other industry professionals.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the loan process.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mortgage Branch Manager.
- Active NMLS license in good standing.
- Proven track record of success in mortgage origination and sales.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and industry trends.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
