**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team. As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will be responsible for originating and processing residential and commercial mortgage loans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the mortgage industry and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. **Duties:** - Originate and process mortgage loan applications, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. - Conduct credit analysis to determine loan-to-value ratios, creditworthiness, and overall loan viability. - Meet with potential clients to discuss their mortgage needs, provide loan options, and negotiate terms. - Utilize financial software, such as Quicken, to analyze financial data and create accurate loan proposals. - Collaborate with loan officers and processing teams to facilitate a smooth and efficient loan processing experience. - Oversee escrow accounts, ensuring timely disbursements and compliance with regulatory requirements. - Develop and maintain relationships with banking partners and other financial services organizations. - Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with the lending process. - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and recommending best practices to colleagues. **Skills:** - Strong understanding of the mortgage industry and its regulations. - Experience as a Loan Officer or Mortgage Loan Originator. - Proficiency in financial software, including Quicken. - Excellent credit analysis skills. - Excellent customer service and negotiation skills. - Experience with loan processing and escrow accounts. - Knowledge of banking and financial services. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
