POSITION SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, the primary responsibility of the Quality Assurance Support Clerk is to assist the Quality Assurance Department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Essential functions are the core duties or tasks that the employee will perform. The following is a list of the duties that are central to performing the most basic functions of the job.

• Assist planning team with purchase orders that have process-related issues by contracting the customers and finding resolutions.
• Process DCRs, Splits and QCD rework requests.
• Maintain reports related to daily responsibilities of the position.
• Act as back-up for the following:
  • Certification Clerk
  • Certification Typist
• Interact with other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Generate quality forms.
• Scan quality documents.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal).
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• 1-3 years of administrative/office experience.
• Basic computer skills and experience utilizing software programs (Microsoft Office, etc.)
• Ability to work in a fast paced work environment.
• Ability to concentrate with distractions and multi-task.
• Experience working in the Aerospace Industry and/or Metal Finishing is beneficial, but not required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
