Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Processor to join our team. The Mortgage Processor will be responsible for reviewing and verifying mortgage loan applications to ensure accuracy and completeness.Responsibilities:
- Review mortgage loan applications for completeness and accuracy
- Verify supporting documentation such as income, credit, and property valuations
- Communicate with loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers to obtain any missing information
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations including Fair Housing regulations, TILA, and other industry standards
- Coordinate with title companies, appraisers, and other third parties as needed
- Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during the loan approval process
- Maintain accurate records of all transactionsQualifications:
- Prior experience in mortgage processing or related field preferred
- Knowledge of mortgage servicing, credit analysis, loan origination, and escrow processes
- Familiarity with basic math principles and financial calculations
- Understanding of loan contracts and documentation requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Required: Bilingual in English/Spanish
Bonus Pay: Loan processor is eligible for monthly bonus per files closed.
90-day review: Performance review meeting will be held after a new employee's roughly first three months on the job.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
