Head Injury Association is in search of a dynamic Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll collaborate with each program, providing crucial support and guidance in implementing recommendations derived from surveys. As our QA Coordinator, you'll be a vital resource on OPWDD and DOH regulations, offering clarity and expertise in their interpretation and application across programs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough documentation reviews, audits, and quality initiatives, leveraging your expertise to ensure compliance.
• Demonstrate proficiency in OPWDD regulations, as well as other Federal and State standards, policies, and requirements.
• Showcase exceptional communication, writing, and analytical skills, fostering effective collaboration with management and staff at all levels.
• Exemplify strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Execute regularly scheduled internal reviews to uphold regulatory compliance and oversee corrective action plans.
• Gather, analyze, and document information to support audit and documentation review findings.
• Maintain comprehensive records of programmatic reviews and audits.
• Provide guidance and support to individual programs in analyzing and resolving identified issues.
• Facilitate and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared for external audits.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma plus three years of OPWDD experience, or an Associate's degree plus two years of OPWDD experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus one year of OPWDD experience.
• Valid NYS Driver's License in good standing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Prior QA experience is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
