Requirements To Apply

• 2 Years of Administrative Assistant experience with Medical Office - we will not consider candidates who don't meet this experience level.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• Must have previous experience in a Physical Therapy or Chiropractic office
• Must have previous experience in medical insurance, verification, and authorizations
• Strong knowledge of medical office/insurance terminology, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS codes and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience with EMR program and other various web-based software/programs/provider portals/applications such as Availity, EviCore, and more.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask for maximum efficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Required Responsibilities:

• Maintain company policies and procedures
• Greet and check-in arriving patients, and obtain up-to-date insurance demographic information
• Answer phone calls, emails and other inquiries about services
• Check departing patients out: address cost of care and schedule appointments accurately.
• Maintain the organization and accuracy of patient records, both paper and electronic
• Scan all necessary documents into patients file.
• EMR Management (data entry, scanning, uploading, file navigation, etc)
• Collect, process and post patient payments accurately.
• Obtain select authorizations and medical records as assigned.
• Perform all other office tasks assigned, including opening/closing duties

The right candidate will be able to handle multiple duties and responsibilities, as well as interact with our patients, at the same time. This is a full-time position and candidates should be looking for a long-term placement with our company.
