Kenworth Truck Company is the manufacturer of The World’s Best® heavy and medium duty trucks. Position Summary
The National Fleet Field Service Manager position requires a strong proactive focus on customer service. Excellent organization skills and superior communication skills, both written and verbal are a necessity. Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities, the ability to maintain composure, and maintain positive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders is critical to success in this position. The candidate must also possess a solid understanding of Class 7/8 chassis and engine knowledge gained through prior experience in Field Service, Dealership Service, Operations, Customer Service management or engineering.
This position will be remote. Ideal candidate will live in the upper Midwest.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
The successful candidate must have the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with Fleet Management and Operations Personnel, Suppliers and Kenworth management to resolve issues in a positive and efficient manner. Strong interpersonal skills are required, and the candidate must demonstrate independent judgment. The successful candidate must be able to manage multiple priorities, keep management well informed, and display perseverance in bringing issues to resolution.
Technical Skills required include experience in the following areas with Kenworth or similar products and systems:
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related required with five years or more related experience preferred. Supervisory experience and/or an MBA are preferred.
Kenworth Product and MX Engine:
Cab Systems (Mechanical and Electrical)
Chassis Systems (Mechanical and Electrical)
After treatment Systems
Engine Electronic Diagnostic experience
Engine Mechanical troubleshooting and fault code interpretation
Kenworth Systems or similar systems to the following:
DWC / SIR (Dealer Warranty Claims/Service Information Record)
Copics / OPS (Kenworth business systems)
E-Portal / DealerNet
ServiceNet, ECAT, Engine Rapido, DAVIE tool diagnostics
Supplier Systems:
Cummins – RapidServe & QSOL (Quick Serve On-Line) (on-line product support)
Eaton – Real Time (product support system.

The salary range for the National Fleet Service Manager position is $106,300 - $166,300 annually. This position is also eligible for annual incentive bonus compensation with a target of 15% of base pay. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
