Network Control Center Supervisor supervises network control technicians in the daily activities of a network service function to ensure efficient, reliable, and secure operations that meet users' needs. Oversees routine testing, configuration changes, or network hardware or software upgrades. Being a Network Control Center Supervisor ensures network traffic and performance monitoring processes are running to identify and troubleshoot any issues. Responds to incidents using standard incident management processes, including root cause analysis (RCA) of any issues to identify and deploy corrective actions. Additionally, Network Control Center Supervisor coordinates with vendors and service providers to ensure required service and quality levels are delivered. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Network Control Center Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Network Control Center Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee the daily functions of the lab, monitoring the Raw mill, Kiln and Finish mill for quality compliance.
Ensure departmental knowledge is update by providing technical knowledge regarding equipment malfunctions and referential information/training to prevent disruptions in quality data.
Preparing and sending out daily and weekly reports as well as sending out any data or samples that are requested to provide quality information about our product or to help make quarry decisions for raw materials.
Training staff on all testing procedures to assuring ASTM compliance.
Procuring supplies and maintaining inventory to prevent disruptions in providing quality data.
Keeping all equipment calibrated in a timely manner, scheduling outside vendors for onsite calibrations to assure ASTM compliance.
Sending out samples for sales department so potential customer can look at our product.
Maintaining AASHTO Certification through record keeping, auditing and corrective actions to ensure compliance.
Analyze microscopy data and produce a report to provide process information to production.
Fill in for analytical and physical testers as needed.
Responsible for the first level of repair of lab equipment to avoid disruptions in quality control.
Other Duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
A high school diploma or GED is required.
A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
An individual with analytical skills preferred.
Prior leadership skills/ability is preferred.
A detailed oriented individual preferred.
Knowledge of cement and lab procedures.
5 years in cement industry preferred.
Knowledge of Safety Rules (MSHA) preferred.
Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
