May perform upgrades, preventative maintenance, or equipment installation. Additionally, Network Control Technician follows standard operating procedures to notify users of outages or changes to network status. May require an associate degree. Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, identifying, and removing pests from residential and commercial properties.Responsibilities:- Conduct inspections to identify pest problems and recommend appropriate solutions- Apply pesticides in and around buildings according to safety regulations- Set traps and bait to control pests- Seal off entry points to prevent pests from returning- Educate customers on pest prevention methods- Maintain accurate service recordsQualifications:- Previous experience in pest control or related field preferred- Knowledge of pest behavior, habitats, and effective removal methods- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Strong communication skills to interact with customers effectively- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 poundsNice-to-have Skills:- Experience in lawn care, farm, or landscape maintenance- Familiarity with farm machinery and hand tools- Sales experience is a plus- Proficiency in using power tools for pest control tasks- Drive and motivation to excel in the pest control industry
