EGlobalTech (EGT) is seeking a Network Engineer to join our Technology Solutions Practice. This team is supporting a federal Data Center site located in Kiln, Mississippi. The position is 100% remote, but the candidate must reside in the U.S. and be able to work core hours of 9am – 5pm Eastern Standard Time hours. This position requires candidates to complete an in-depth background investigation to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

The ideal candidate will become part of EGT’s Datacenter Consolidation and Cloud Optimization (DCCO) program providing Networking and Tier 3 support to the DHS Homeland Advanced Recognition Technology (HART) biometric system. The candidate is responsible to provide ongoing cloud network support, address availability issues, overcome network performance problems and provide overall level 3 networking support, resolving customer tickets within JIRA and Service Now, and supporting system incident troubleshooting calls. The candidate is expected to closely interact with the government customer to achieve system objectives, provide ticket updates, and system status updates. Candidates are expected to be on-call for a week at a time approximately 4 – 6 times a year.
LOCATION: Remote (but must reside and perform all work within the United States)
WORK HOURS: 40-hour work week with core hours from 9 am to 5 pm Eastern time
