ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Installing, Maintaining, and Analyzing Data Center Network
• Joint project with head office engineers
• Operating Windows / Linux / Storage
• Analyze, research, configure, and install networks & computer systems
• Escorts visitors within the data center.
• Works with OEM on server repair warranty and parts replenishment
• Generates and works from the ticket system to provide support and project
• Interface with electrical and infrastructure vendors for routine maintenance visits
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bilingual in Korean and Korean – must be able to speak, read and write
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 3 or more years of relevant work experience in data center network operation, data center, and infrastructure engineering in medium to large data center environments (100-500 servers with supporting infrastructure servers)
• At least 3 or more years of relevant work experience in Server / Storage Hardware Management (DELL / HP / IBM / Oracle)
• Experience with cabling systems (UTP, Optical Fiber)
• At least 3 or more years of hands-on work experience with server repair and warranty parts service
• Experience with protocols and services based on TCP/IP
• Experience with routers and switches
• Ability to work well within a team
• Order supplies to replenish data center stock or for upcoming projects
• Uses advanced troubleshooting skills for hardware and infrastructure problems or failure remediation
• Experience working in a Highly Available data center environment with high uptime with little to no disruption in services or availability
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS :
• Occasional lifting/carrying of up to 50 pounds
• Visual acuity
• Speech and hearing
• Hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment
• Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions
• Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment with travel to various locations on an occasional basis
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be okay to work 100% onsite in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey
• Must be okay to work Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern time
• Must be okay to work on 1-year term contract employment with possibility for extension
• Must be okay to business trips 5 -10% a month - local/domestic
