The BLS Operations Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of the BLS service line in accordance with all laws, regulations, or Inspira policies and procedures. The BLS Operations manager must uphold all the duties listed under the respective certification level job description. Additionally, the BLS Operations Manager serves as an exemplar of ethical management practices and actively cultivates a positive patient experience that aligns seamlessly with Inspira Health's mission, vision, and values. Attends all mandatory meetings, complete all required network certifications and tasks within the allotted time. Will assist in the onboarding process of all new employees and work collaboratively with the other leaders to grow and strengthen the department within the communities we serve.

Education & Experience:

• An associate degree is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
• Minimum of five years supervisory/management experience.
• 10 years' experience in pre-hospital care/transport required.
• Experience in managing teams, departments, or multiple projects.

Certifications/ Licensure:

Required:

• NJ EMT, NJ EMT-Paramedic or NJ endorsed Mobile Intensive Care Nurse or certification eligible for NJ Reciprocity certification within 90 days. Candidate will maintain all required licensure/certifictions as defined as defined in NJAC 8:40, 8:41.
• Incident Command Certifications: 100, 200, 700, 800 - ICS-300 (within 1 year)
• Valid state issued Driver's License

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong leadership and management skills are crucial for this role.
