Product Manager - Network Solutions Network Equipment

Join us as a Product Manager, you will support the Networks Business covering our Network Equipment and participate in the New Product Introduction process. Come help us continue to deliver on products that help to conserve resources like electricity, gas and water the world over!

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Participate in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process which encompasses everything from requirements definition through product launch and continued sustaining.
    • Responsible for Product Life Cycle Management of Network products
    • Acts as expert consultant to guide in planning and development of technical solutions.
    • Work closely with engineers and partners on detailed designs, functional specifications, project management, and testing.
    • Facilitate a smooth order and delivery process. Ensure all products are supported by the Itron supply chain and procurement processes
    • Lead technical presentations presented to customers and internal teams on supported products.
    • Support sales and service delivery teams on pricing, delivery and technical questions
    • Support & train internal teams on the products
    • Train service delivery team on new technology aspects
    • Work with marketing, training, engineering, partners and installation to develop various product-related documents including marketing collateral, help documentation, and instructional materials.
    • Present and promote Itron product offerings at trade shows and other industry events.
    • Provide ongoing technical support and case management daily through phone, email, and other forms of communication with partners and customers.

    Required Skills & Experience:

    • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, ICT, Computer, etc.).
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills as well good presentation skills and the ability to communicate at all levels in the organization.
    • Result-oriented, proactive, strong analytical and strategic way of thinking.
    • Organized and flexible, capacity to handle several projects at the same time in an international environment.
    • 7 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager required
    • Experience with networking and routing solutions for industrial applications
