This position is responsible for managing staff accountable for leading projects and coordination of the Medicaid regulations and program changes; training and oversight of the Medicaid staff performing this work; monitoring of operational functions performed internally and externally; implementation, tracking and monitoring of Medicaid requirements to ensure compliance; and developing and maintaining Medicaid policies and procedures. The position is the pharmacist for Medicaid and assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of the prescription drug benefit, including formulary administration, clinical compliance and quality adherence.
