A Little Bit About the Position
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to make an impact in a fast-paced legal environment? As a Court Department Specialist at Gemini Legal, you will play a key role in processing and managing court-related documents, facilitating specialized services like skip tracing and courier jobs, and building strong relationships with courts, clients, and affiliates. From e-filing and recording legal documents to performing court research and creating trial binders, your contributions will ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
This role requires professionalism, precision, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with composure. - Location : Salinas, CA
- Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm
- Compensation : $21.63-$28.37 / hour
Requirements :
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 1 years of progressive experience in a related position
- Demonstrated administrative aptitude and high level of attention to detail
- Legal experience is a plus, but not required
- Advanced time management and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle a high volume of work and function in a fast-paced environment, on deadline
- Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
- Able to master repetitive tasks and processes, executing them thoroughly
- Proficient using a computer, business phone, office software, video conferencing, and other computer programs including Google Workplace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail, etc.)
- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat preferred
- Ability to navigate the internet and conduct research adeptly
- Experience working in an office setting
- Exceptional teamwork
- Sitting for at least one hour at a time (total : 6-8 hours / day)
- Keyboarding for extended periods of time (total : 4-6 hours / day)
- Using a phone with or without a headset for extended periods (total : 4-6 hours / day)
