We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, possess a strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, have a strong work ethic and be reliable.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients
• Taking vitals
• Maintain patient records and medical files.
• Obtaining prior authorizations and insurance benefits
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, faxing, and copying documents.
• Checking messages
• Verify patient insurances
• Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures.
• Schedule appointments and answer phone calls.
• Collect payments

Skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology and coding
- Strong patient service skills with a focus on delivering high-quality care
- Experience in Neurology is a plus
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
