DESCRIPTION: Provides personalized banking services to prospective & existing clients. Identifies needs of customers & recommends appropriate financial products & services.

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Open and maintain checking, savings, time deposits, Safe Deposit Boxes, HSA’s & IRA’s
• Promote and cross-sell other bank products and services as appropriate to client needs, including: loans, cards, online and mobile banking products, trust and payroll services
• Welcome clients and escort them to the appropriate person or department for their inquiry
• Correspond appropriately and professionally via phone, email or other means
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, bank policies and procedures
• Provide Notary Services
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Efficient computer keyboarding skills
• MS Office Products: Word, Outlook & basic Excel; ability to learn new software
• Knowledge of bank products/prior bank experience desired
• Ability to deal effectively with all levels of employees and management
• Highly conscientious and ethical with a high regard to the importance of confidential information
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general banking procedures, correspondence, and regulations
• Flexible in regard to duties and hours
• Reliable attendance
