The Role:

At Star Blends, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality agricultural feed solutions that support farmers and strengthen our communities. We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead our team in optimizing processes, driving efficiency, and implementing strategic initiatives. if you have a proven track record of leadership and operational excellence, we invite you to bring your expertise to a company that values innovation and results. This position is located in Sparta, WI and will travel to Chippewa Falls on a weekly basis.

Key Job Responsibilities:

In this dynamic role, you’ll oversee operational, fleet, and logistics optimization to ensure our customers receive the highest quality products efficiently. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and lead initiatives that drive cost control and operational excellence. Additionally, you’ll manage and mentor mill teams, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability aligned with our mission and vision.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in related field or 7-10 years of management and leadership experience, preferably in agriculture or feed industries
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead teams by fostering relationships
• Strong analytical skills and project management experience
• Strong business and financial acumen
• Driver’s license with good driving record
• Must be willing to travel to Chippewa Falls location on a weekly basis
• DOT compliance experience is a plus
