Night Shift Warehouse Load Supervisor - St. Cloud
Hours: 7 p.m. - 4 a.m.

Viking Coca Cola is currently looking to hire a night shift warehouse load supervisor. This position is a working management position for a team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast paced environment.

The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the day-to-day loading operation to assure that trucks get loaded accurately, safely, and on time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following;

1. Assisting in supervision and helping direct the daily activities and productivity of load crew.
2. Counting and verifying accuracy of loads and signing pick ticket for accountability.
3. Assisting in interviews and hiring employees.
4. Providing training to new employees.
5. Identifying employee skills and developing them by coaching and training.
6. Providing input on performance reviews and providing continual feedback on performance.
7. Recommending pay changes based on performance.
8. Assisting 2nd Shift Warehouse Manager coordinate work hours including scheduling for breaks, approving time off requests, tracking absences and timekeeping.
9. Training and monitoring crew for compliance with safe work practices.
10. Assuring the warehouse is maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
11. Assisting the crew by performing duties required for load fulfillment.
12. Assisting in reworking warehouse layouts.
13. Fostering a cooperative and harmonious working climate that maximizes employee morale and productivity.
14. Recommending, implementing and administering preventive maintenance policies and procedures to enhance operations.
15. Seeking out efficiencies in warehouse operations and making recommendations.
16. Participating in the development of department goals and objectives.
17. Serving as backup during absence of Warehouse Manager.
18. Ensuring that company policies and procedures are consistently administered to all employees.
19. Performing check in and checkout procedures for all incoming and outgoing vehicles.
20. Assisting in jockeying of tractors and trailers as needed.
21. Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience;

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Warehouse experience required.
